Rides
How is my fare worked out?
From the road distance and time of your route, shown before you book. Waiting at stops beyond the free minutes is added at the end, at the rate shown when you booked.
What is the pickup PIN?
Once a rider is on the way, your trip screen shows a 4-digit PIN. Check the rider's face and plate match the app, then give them the PIN: the trip can't start without it.
Can I book for later, or for someone else?
Yes. On the booking screen choose Later to pick a time up to 7 days ahead, or Someone else and add their name and phone number. Send them the PIN and the trip link.
How do I cancel?
Open the trip and tap Cancel. You can cancel until the trip starts.
Deliveries
How does the person receiving it know it's coming?
On your delivery screen tap Send to the recipient. They get a link showing the rider, the plate, where the item is, and a drop-off code.
What is the drop-off code?
The rider needs it from the recipient to finish the delivery, which proves it reached the right person. If there's no code, the rider takes a photo of the item handed over, and you can see it.
Payments and coupons
How do I pay?
Pay the rider the fare shown in the app in cash, then confirm it in the app.
I was charged the wrong amount
Open the trip in your history and tap Report a problem, or contact support. Tell us what you expected to pay.
How do invite rewards work?
Share your code from Invite friends. Your friend gets money off their first ride, and you get a reward once they've taken it.
Your account
I can't sign in, or my account was suspended
Open Contact support (no need to sign in) and message us on WhatsApp, call us or email us. Tell us the email or phone number on your account and what happened, and we'll help you from there.
Lost something?
I left something on a ride
Open the trip in your history and tap Report a problem, then choose Lost item. We tell the rider straight away and help you get it back.
Safety
What does SOS do?
It lets you call the police on 999 and alerts Piki Dada's team with your trip and location, and shows your emergency contacts to call. Add them in Emergency contacts.
Can my family follow my trip?
Yes: tap Share trip with family on your trip screen and send them the link.
Riders
Why do I need to take a selfie?
Once a week we check it's really you riding, so nobody can use your account. It takes a few seconds before you go online.
Where can I see what I earned?
In History, tap Earnings statement: day by day, after commission, with a file to download.
Where are the customers?
On your dashboard, tap Where it's busy to see where requests came from lately.
